Ben Muasya have urged the public to join community groups such as SHGs, CBOs, and SACCOs.
Addressing residents at Kauwi, Kitui west sub county yesterday, Muasya said that members will have access to faster loans (in incidences of emergency and/or investments plans) which will be charged with low interest rate of 1% per month unlike with banks; whose loans have high interest rates.
Muasya again asked those working outside Kitui West sub county to consider saving with SACCOs within their home (Kitui West) to ensure growth and sustainability of the said groups.
He further noted that one of the challenges faced by these groups is limited resources and this has affected their growth. As a mitigation, he has this far joined 4 SACCOs and more than 35 table banking groups where he has enhanced their borrowing funds by over Kshs. 500,000 .00
